TITHES

When it comes to giving of our money; we are to obey God in His biblical teaching of tithing. The tithe is 10% of your income to your local church. When we give, we are to have a heart attitude of love towards God. Tithing is an act of our faith and gratitude in God to provide all our needs and to use the tithe for His will.

All tithes received goes towards furthering Port City Christian Church's ministry.

Tithes is taken up every Sunday in both the morning and evening services.

OFFERING

An offering is when we, as a church family give money to another organisation or individual serving God. We believe God is moving and raising up His kingdom beyond the four walls of our church. As a church we support a group of local and international organisations and individuals through our missions offering. We continue to see testimonies of God's work around the world.

Our missions offering is taken up every third Sunday of the month.

Center for Change I Philippines

This is a community established by a woman of faith; Ps Margaret Pashley. The Center for Change is an establishment in the Philippines where orphans and children at risk are offered the opportunity to be housed, clothed and educated in a Christian School. They are cared for an loved by a house parent in a home environment where Christian values are displayed and taught

Precious Joy I Philippines

Port City Christian Church provides our sponsor child; Precious Joy financial support to help with her education and living expenses. Her parents pastor a church on the island of Leyte, Philippines.

Erik and Mariaana Klar I Thailand

Erik and Mariaana Klar lead a diverse group of people who work together to impact the unreached groups of Thailand. This passionate couple have faithfully served in Thailand for several decades.

Wendy I Private

R & D are a couple we have been supporting since 1983. Their daughter Wendy now has taken on their ministry in a sensitive Asian country. They have been working with a federation of 300 tribal churches (approx 100,000 people) and have helped facilitate training programs for Pastors and Elders, Women’s Leaders, Youth Leaders, and Children’s Workers. They have helped initiate a bible college that is teaching the next generation of leaders.
